Another sold out training!

NLGI’s 2025 Hands-On Training was held November 12th-14th at Koehler Instrument Company in Holtsville, NY. This immersive three day course combined classroom lectures with practical, hands-on laboratory training. Participants gained a comprehensive understanding of grease fundamentals, including thickeners, base oils, additives, various manufacturing methods, testing methodologies, and their applications in bearings, as well as industrial and automotive uses.

The course fostered a participatory learning environment, blending informative lectures with hands-on laboratory sessions. Each morning, participants engaged in classroom discussions, which were followed by laboratory sessions where they applied the test methods covered earlier in the day. By using the required instrumentation to perform these methods themselves, attendees reinforced their knowledge and enhanced their learning experience.
