  • Successfully onboarded 22 new members in 2024 and 6 in 2025 so far.
  • Reached a 93% retention rate in 2024. NLGI has had over a 90% retention rate for the past 6 years

 

Global Outreach

We will be recognized as the facilitator of grease knowledge globally to allow for consistent manufactured quality and use of grease.

  • Industry Partnerships: Committed to maintaining and growing partnerships with organizations like ELGI, CLGI, NLGI India Chapter, ILMA, STLE, ASTM, etc.
  • International Sub-Committee: Formed to focus on global outreach efforts.
  • Global Awareness: Working to increase awareness of NLGI products and services in various regions, initially focusing on Latin America.

Technical Leadership

NLGI brings to the industry a historical body of knowledge of grease technology that is proven to work. NLGI also looks for emerging technical grease needs and fosters new grease innovation to improve product performance, conserve resources, and protect the environment. It does this by transferring knowledge to new industry participants via education, networking, technical presentations as well as  encouraging/exposing young professionals to the grease industry and improving the human condition globally.
