BROKEN ARROW, OK, USA (May 31, 2024) – The International Council for Machinery Lubrication (ICML) is pleased to announce the recent selections of Gracen Johnsen and Wojciech Majka to serve as the newest members of its Board of Directors.
Based in Oklahoma, Johnsen is the Vice President of James Farris and Associates, a full-service, human resources consulting firm. Majka is co-owner and President of Ecol Sp. z o.o. Group, which comprises three separate companies based in Poland, Czech Republic, and the United States that provide specialty services related to reliability and performance of industrial plants, especially in areas of lubrication outsourcing and plant maintenance services.
“The addition of Gracen and Wojciech brings beneficial perspectives to our board,” said ICML Executive Director Leslie Fish. “Gracen offers expertise in nonprofit management that will ensure fruitful decision-making as we expand into new areas of growth. And Wojciech brings his enthusiastic support as a corporate leader and active champion of ICML’s mission across Europe and beyond, especially with regard to encouraging the adoption of ICML 55® principles. Together, I am confident they will positively impact the strategic growth and direction of ICML for years to come.”
“It’s a privilege to serve with this talented board and ICML team,” said Johnsen. “I am eager to participate in the continuing strategic growth and planning of ICML and the critical trainings and certifications it awards to machine lubrication professionals all over the world.”
“The opportunity to participate in the development of ICML and its impact on global industry, and to share my practical experiences and ideas with such an outstanding body as the ICML Board of Directors, is a great honor,” said Majka. “I never thought that I would have the opportunity to be inside this organization! Not only is it an honor, but also a motivation to continue working in the field to promote the concept that a well-implemented lubrication strategy is one of the most important elements in maintenance, with a direct impact on plant performance.”
