Take advantage of unique opportunities to connect, explore, and make the most of your time at the 2025 NLGI Annual Meeting! These optional events are designed to enrich your experience and foster meaningful interactions.
Fun Run
The NLGI Annual Fun Run will be held on Wednesday, June 11, 2025. Check-in and stretching will begin at 6:30 AM followed by a standing start at 7:00 AM. Participants are required to sign a waiver to participate. NLGI will offer both a 1-mile and a 2-mile option.
Although all attendees and guests are welcome to join us for this complimentary event, pre-registration is required to participate. Prizes are awarded for first through third place, for both men and women, 1 and 2 miles.
Golf Event
Golf during the NLGI 2025 Annual meeting will take place at Jacaranda Golf Club on Monday, June 9. Located in the heart of Greater Fort Lauderdale, FL, Jacaranda is South Florida’s premier semi-private golf destination, offering 36 holes of championship golf across its renowned East and West courses. Both courses, rated four stars by Golf Digest, feature a stunning layout of tropical ponds, canals, and meticulously maintained Paspalum tee boxes and fairways. With five sets of tees catering to all skill levels, Jacaranda provides a challenging yet versatile experience for every golfer, making it a must-visit destination for golf enthusiasts.
Transportation to Jacaranda Golf Club will be provided, with buses departing from the Marriott Harbor Beach Resort promptly at 6:15 AM. A ‘Grab-and-Go’ breakfast will be available. Check-in at Jacaranda Golf Club begins at 7:00 AM, followed by a shotgun start at 8:00 AM.
After the tournament, we will have a 19th Hole Celebration and will award the top three foursomes. We will also have individual prizes for hole contests along the course (longest drive, closest to the pin, etc.)
The discounted group rate for golf is $200 USD per golfer and club rentals are available for $75.00 USD. All registered attendees, including spouses and guests, are welcome to register and participate! For more information about Jacaranda Golf Club, click here.

Everglades Airboat Adventure Tour
Wednesday, June 11, 8:45 AM – 12:30 PM
$129 USD / per person
Busses will depart at 9:00 AM. All participants will need to meet in the lobby by 8:45 AM.

After your airboat adventure, immerse yourself in an exhilarating live alligator show featuring the renowned Gator Boys Alligator Rescue team from Animal Planet’s hit TV series. Watch as they perform heart-pounding stunts while sharing fascinating educational insights about these incredible creatures. To top off your experience, you’ll get the opportunity to hold a baby alligator for a one-of-a-kind photo opportunity!
